The Advanced Institute of Fertility is excited to announce a simpler and less costly approach to infertility treatment.

This minimal stimulation approach involves utilizing oral medication with every other day injections. 

Couples undergo a suitable and minimal infertility workup, limited intermediate treatment, and a faster track to modified minimal stimulation.

With this approach, IVF can be carried out without the use of high doses of gonadotropins, thus lowering the cost and risk factors associated with traditional IVF stimulation (ovarian hyperstimulation, multiple birth, expensive NICU care, or dilemma with extra unused embryos, just to name a few) can be minimized with Mild Stimulation IVF.

The ideal patient for Mild Stimulation IVF includes one or more of the following indicators:

• Regular cycles and ovulation
• Young women with blocked tubes or male factor
• Idiopathic - IUI (intrauterine insemination) candidate
• Low ovarian reserve
• Previous failed IVF
• Couples looking to minimize cost

Whether using oral medications alone or adding minimal injections, periodic ovarian monitoring with ultrasound examination and blood hormone assay is carried out. Egg retrieval and embryo transfer are carried out in the usual and customary approach as we have for the past 25 years.
